Highlands Ranch Dentist appointment confirmation

Our Highlands Ranch dentist have moved into the millennia with appointment confirmation through new technology.  Don’ misunderstand us… they still have a significant number of patients who wish to be reminded the old fashion way of a phone call or post card. As more and more patients become dependent on the Internet and computers this technology offers significant convenience.

Dr. James DeLapp and Dr. H. Candace DeLapp Highlands Ranch dentists use a product called Smile Reminders® .  If we have an e-mail address the confirmation page lists the date and time of your appointment.  In the days of leaving messaged on message machines we asked our patients to confirm their appointment by calling us back.  With this new product all you have to do is simple click in a link that says “confirm appointment:” and it is done.  Text messaging works similarly and give you the ability to confirm  more conveniently.

Cottonwood Dental Group Newsletter June 2008 Invisalign Orthodontics

We want to welcome you to our inaugural issue of the Cottonwood Dental Group P.C. “e”-newsletter. Because our goal at Cottonwood Dental Groups is to create healthy smiles, Dr.’s DeLapp newsletter is devoted to bringing you advancements or new topics in dentistry. This month’s topic is describing what Invisalign is. Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that making the process of straightening your teeth “less” invasive and considerably more esthetic that traditional orthodontics with metal brackets and wires.

This alternative to traditional braces was developed for adult patients and mature teens and has been used in over 750,000 patients worldwide. What makes Invisalign unique it is uses a series of removable” virtually” invisible custom-made appliances known as aligners to create tooth movement. Different types of orthodontic problems such as excess spacing crowding or relapse from previous orthodontic treatment can be helped with Invisalign. Most cases the average treating time is about one year but obviously everyone is different. Very complex cases or difficult movements may not be treated with Invisalign and traditional braces may be necessary.
